The Orkney Skate Trust is seeking funding to complete various research projects that aim to conserve the critically endangered Flapper Skate in Orkney.

Currently we are involved in a training programme teaching recreational anglers the most effective and safest methods of tag and release fishing.  This project has been funded by the Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership.
